Like so many of my classmates in the Master Key Mastermind Alliance, I devoted some time during this week to go into silence.\u00a0 I had two days cleared on my calendar and I booked them for this assignment: no phones, no computer, no tablets, no books, no speaking, no television, no music, Silence!\u00a0 (The photos were taken on the following Tuesday when I could use my camera again.)<\/p>\n

There were basically 3 questions in mind during this silence to help me really focus on my dharma or purpose in life:<\/p>\n

1.\u00a0 What are the talents I have been given that I’m to share with the world?<\/p>\n

2.\u00a0 How am I to share those talents to create the most good?<\/p>\n

3.\u00a0 How does God or the divine want to express itself through me?<\/p>\n

Since I didn’t have an island beach to visit nearby to connect with nature during this assignment, I chose the Overland Park Arboretum<\/a> nearby, a beautiful place to connect with Nature.\u00a0 Off I went, willing to open myself to listening to the Holy Spirit, instead of telling it what I want.<\/p>\n

It would take a book to cover all the amazing things I learned on my journey through the two days, but for now, I’ll just share the opening of the first morning of silence.<\/p>\n

As I pulled up into the parking lot of the Arboretum, I was greeted by the following sign:<\/p>\n

\"Free<\/p>\n

I was immediately overwhelmed, weeping with emotions of gratitude.\u00a0 It took me awhile to recover enough to even get out of the car.\u00a0 First of all, I was grateful that I had been given the gift of free admission on this day.\u00a0 Had I checked their website before hand, I would have known that Tuesdays are free admission days, but I had no conscious awareness that this was in effect.\u00a0 But more importantly, I got a much deeper message.<\/p>\n

As my class friend Lorelei Sunshine<\/a> so eloquently pointed out, the name you’re given can mean so very much.\u00a0 On this special Tuesday, this sign was a divine directive — time to let go of all the imprisonment I had placed on myself, time to let go of all the self-imposed fetters of self-doubt and fear I had built, time to completely FREE myself and become the me I really came to Earth to be.<\/p>\n

Like Mary in Frances Hodgson Burnett’s classic The Secret Garden<\/em>, I had been given a unique key to open the door to a very special, fertile place where I could imagine beauty, plant and nurture my dreams, and see them manifest.\u00a0 What a gift!<\/p>\n

You have this gift waiting too — deep inside you in your inner worlds and in your marvelous imagination.\u00a0 Go silent, find it and explore!!!\u00a0 #Nothinglikeit<\/a><\/p>\n
