No “One” is an Island
“No man is an island entire of itself; every man is a piece of the continent, a part of the main; if a clod be washed away by the sea, Europe is the less, as well as if a promontory were, as well as any manner of thy friends or of thine own were; any man’s death diminishes me, because I am involved in mankind. And therefore never send to know for whom the bell tolls; it tolls for thee.”
— MEDITATION XVII Devotions upon Emergent Occasions John Donne”
The connectedness of all life is a recurring theme in so many works. This week, the class was challenged to piece together their own MasterMind partner. What a gift it is to reach out and connect with others, and better yet, to have a pool of magnificent individuals who are so open to wanting to help each other and participate in connecting with ideas, connecting on a personal level to help someone else reach their dreams. This is a powerful week, and one I always treasure.
It brings out our best when we act for others as much as for ourselves, in growth, and toward abundance. Partner up, friends and buckle up. The ride will be amazing!
