“I realize the dominating thoughts of my mind eventually reproduce themselves in outward physical action and gradually transform themselves into physical reality …” Napoleon Hill, Think and Grow Rich.
How many times have I read it, absorbed this and yet it still bounces off me? I recall many times I got out of a mess I got myself into and later said, “What was I thinking?” I should really listen to myself when I say this. Exploring the answers to that very question helps me to understand how much I really do control my environment and my life. I need to get better at this and literally, get my mind out of the gutter!
Haanel, in the Master Key System, covers specifics on the importance of monitoring and controlling thoughts in this week’s lesson.
“17-34. If you wish to eliminate fear, concentrate on courage.
17-35. If you wish to eliminate lack, concentrate on abundance.
17-36. If you wish to eliminate disease, concentrate on health.”
Hmmmm, now there’s some true power! But concentrating is not easy. It takes focus, and it takes practice!
And thank you, Mark Januszewski and the Master Key Experience, for the valuable tools and exercises to help anyone learn to better manage their most critical tool, that magnificent mind.
