Christmas as a child is when I learned that dreams really do come true. I remember wanting some things so badly, I thought my life would crumble if Santa didn’t bring them to me and I was willing to be as good as, if not better than, gold, in order to get it.
And rarely did Santa disappoint!
So as part of our Master Key Experience class assignment, I found Section 13 of the Master Key System, by Haanel, particularly exciting, even in the introduction, “Part Thirteen which follows tells why the dreams of the dreamer come true. It explains the law of causation by which dreamers, inventors, authors, financiers, bring about the realization of their desires. It explains the law by which the thing pictured upon our mind eventually becomes our own.”
Dreams coming true. How awesome. For me, this is the deep stuff that life is truly about, and what makes it worth living and living grandly!
Here’s just one of many points of view on the subject of making your dreams come true, some great tips from Bel Pesce, a passionate young woman who made her own dreams come true, first at MIT, then in Silicon Valley:
“Thought will bring about conditions in correspondence with the predominant mental attitude. Therefore, if we fear disaster, as fear is a powerful form of thought, disaster will be the certain result of our thinking. It is this form of thought which frequently sweeps away the result of many years of toil and effort,” Haanel says in (13-16). Boy, does that light up some old habits. If I allow fear to consume my energy, I can’t create. Makes sense.
Haanel is beautifully simple about the solution, “We have found that everything we get comes to us by the Law of Attraction. A happy thought cannot exist in an unhappy consciousness; therefore the consciousness must change, and, as the consciousness changes, all conditions necessary to meet the changed consciousness must gradually change, in order to meet the requirements of the new situation.” (13-24)
So, go ahead. Dream of Sugar Plum fairies (they actually dance on stage around the world every Christmas), or whatever your heart desires. Keep your thoughts positive and happy. And live your dream! Merry Christmas!
